Clinical Evaluation of Handpiece Penetration Depth

The energy penetration depth of PTING handpieces has been verified through clinical settings and agar phantom experiments simulating human tissue. Under identical output condition (100 W) and treatment durations, stable temperature elevation in deep tissues was confirmed without excessive surface temperature rise due to the integrated cooling system. Heat distribution was primarily observed at 2-3 mm for the Small handpiece and 6-8 mm for the Large handpiece.

These depth-specific thermal responses were confirmed through infrared thermography and cross-sectional tissue analysis. This demonstrates that PTING is not merely a theoretical design but a microwave medical device developed based on clinically validated data.

A1.    A minimum of 60,000 J per session is recommended for PTING treatments. For optimal and stable results, three sessions at intervals of 3-4 weeks are recommended. The treatment plan may be adjusted at the discretion of the medical professional based on individual skin conditioned treatment area.

A2.   While individual response may vary, many patients experience an immediate tightening sensation or improved contour definition following treatment. Progressive improvement typically appears over 2-4 weeks as deep thermal responses and collagen remodeling continue, resulting in more natural and noticeable skin tightening and contour enhancement.

A3.     The duration of results may vary depending on individual skin condition, lifestyle, and treatment area; however, effects commonly last for several months. Periodic maintenance treatments may help prolong the results.

A4.   PTING is designed to be compatible with other energy-based treatments.
